About MESC Labs

Our Philosophy

In 2009, MESC Labs was founded as a scientific research laboratory that pursues rigorous research and development in the interdisciplinary area of Mathematics, Engineering, and Scientific Computing (and hence the acronym MESC). That day, the aim was to produce highly effective solutions to daily life problems, while delivering a state-of-the-art quality that guarantees the utmost utilization of technology and ease of use for all users.

Many fields of science in this area lay, e.g., data analysis, data visualization, pattern recognition, image processing, signal analysis, high performance computing, among many others. And many practical and industrial problems arise, as well, waiting for solutions from that area, e.g., Computer Aided Detection (CAD) for medical images, decision support and forecasting, big data analysis, among many others.

In parallel to launching our own research projects that provide solutions to particular industrial problems of importance and interest, we provide consultancy to external projects fitting our scope of research and interest.

Mission

MESC Labs connects academia and industry, this is made possible through two main activities. First, we undergo a full research cycle to examine and analyze problems and relevant scientific theories. Second, we design and produce effective solutions that are substantiated on rigorous research procedures. Our goal is to build on the strong belief that if we deployed scientific research properly in conjunction with developing, we can build better and more scientifically advanced programs with more affordable prices to everyone.

Vision

Our long-term vision is to build a strong research organization that is able to grant scholarships, encourage scientific research, and establish a strong connection between academia and industry.
